I design financial products that people can understand and use with confidence. I bring research, UX and visual design together to make complex workflows clearer and easier to use.
Open to contract work in banking & financeWhat I designed. Why I made those decisions.
And what we delivered together.

I brought a fragmented app ecosystem into one place, designing the structure and interfaces that helped people find the tools they needed.

I started Moneypenny from scratch, designed its foundations and built Vue components and documentation with the team that brought it to eight products.

I redesigned product discovery and the detail pages, making performance and structural risk easier for institutional clients to read.

As the sole designer, I shaped a portfolio management cockpit and a rebalancing flow that made each consequential action explicit.

I designed and built my independent digital practice: thoughtful websites and practical tools for small businesses, with one partner who stays involved as their needs grow.

Confidential project · Under NDA
I worked on a native mobile app for iOS and Android for a retail flow business offering leveraged products in Germany.
The app is not live yet and the project is covered by a non-disclosure agreement. I’ll share more once it’s live and I can discuss the work publicly.
Product design, end to end
Product designer.
From research to delivery.

I’m a product designer working across the whole design process: research and problem definition, interaction and visual design, prototyping, usability testing and seeing the work through to delivery. That is what full-stack design means to me: connecting user needs, business goals and the quality of the finished product.
I grew up drawing buildings. Later, I designed houses in Belgium and the interiors of private aircraft in Zürich. Moving into product design brought those instincts with me: structure before surface, proportion and attention to detail. Software gave me a way to test ideas and learn from them sooner.
I can also write code. As a designer, that helps me understand how front-end and back-end developers think, recognise technical constraints early and design feasible solutions. I can explain design decisions clearly, work through implementation details with developers and contribute code when useful. That technical fluency strengthens both my design work and the way I collaborate with the team.
I’ve built a design system used by eight teams and helped shape a shared platform for more than 1,200 people. What matters to me is that people can find what they need and get through their everyday work more easily.

Fifteen years, architecture to product
I run Digital Products Bureau, my independent digital practice for small businesses. I bring service design, UX and front-end delivery together, from the first website to ongoing care and the next useful addition.
Led the design function while staying in the file and in the codebase. Built the Moneypenny design system from zero, owned the information architecture behind the Leonteq HUB, and led design for Stargate 2.0.
Designed web and mobile products for digital banking and trading, and set the design standards and templates the team still runs on.
Designed, built, and shipped own websites from first sketch to launch while deepening current front-end technologies.
Founding designer for a virtual reality platform for the real estate sector, from concept to working prototype inside an accelerator.
Two certificate programmes and a portfolio of independent projects, the deliberate move from physical space into digital product design.
Interior design for VIP and commercial private aircraft, balancing technical constraints and certification requirements with client needs.
Design and construction drawings for several architectural practices, supporting project architects from concept phase through planning submission.
Four disciplines, one practice
The environment I do my best work in
My best work happens in person, at a whiteboard, sitting next to the people who are going to build it. Remote works. Together works better.
Small teams, short decision paths, no design by committee. I would rather ship something and learn from it than present something and wait for it.
I work closely with front-end and back-end developers to make design decisions clear and technically feasible. Understanding their constraints helps me discuss trade-offs, review the implementation and contribute code when it helps the team.
I have led a team of four and I have been the only designer in the room. Both suit me. The only version that does not is the one where I stop designing.
Banking, finance and fintech
Clear interfaces matter most when the decisions matter.
My experience spans investment products, trading workflows and the systems that connect them. I understand how much detail sits behind a seemingly simple action, and I design ways to make that complexity easier to navigate.
I’m looking for contract opportunities where I can contribute directly: understanding a complex workflow, improving an existing product or helping a team build a consistent design system.
I’m also interested in how AI can make those products more useful, with clear explanations and enough context for people to decide when to trust the result.
I’m especially interested in contract roles in banking, finance and fintech. I bring experience designing trading platforms, investment tools and enterprise design systems, with my hands still on the work.
